My concerns early on in the booking were how far away from the farm the lodges would be,... read more and other things like how warm and how comfortable the accommodation would be - everything was perfect.

The lodge's are cosy and warm, and very separate from the other two lodges (around the lake) and from the farm - so it was peaceful and private. The hot tub was amazing, and Andy was on hand at 8pm to help me find the lights for that area.

Could not recommend staying here more, and will definitely be returning ourselves.

  Had a lovely weekend break in the Serenity Lake hut. It was very clean and complimentary drinks were great too! The wood burning hot tub and sauna were easy to... read more use and we really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the hammocks. We were surprised that the hot tub only needed heating once in the day and then kept its temperature for most of the day! The huts and lake are in a contained fenced area so it felt very safe and well looked after! And it was amazing being close to so many beautiful horses! The only negative we found was the wifi was not very good, but if you’re going here to have a peaceful weekend away from phones and computers then this is perfect! Definitely recommend and would stay here again 🙂

The hot tub was very easy to use, Once again there is clear instructions on how to use it. I.e. clean and refilled due to being fresh water.
It is a very nice area away from the main roads, and if you enjoy looking at the stars this is a great spot for that. on one evening, we got the hammocks and put them up and just lied there for an hour looking at the stars having a drink.
I fully recommend going to this destination if you need to have a break or just fancy relaxing for the weekend.

  The owner was really nice and super helpful. The cabin was peaceful but very very cold (however we did come on a freezing weekend) and only discovered the portable heater... read more the next day. The shower wasn’t always hot and was mainly cold so we had to ask him to come and sort it and he said it has something to do with others using the hot tub so we had to wait but he came after and sorted it out straight away. Because of the freezing weather we were without water all night but it returned in the morning. The water pressure was also not good very little water was coming out of the shower. I can imagine in the summer this place would be 10/10 apart from the shower. The host allowed us a late check in as no one else was coming that day which was very kind and we are very grateful. Overall he was very kind and immediately responsive and the place was comfortable and cozy!

The hut was really cosy and had everything you need. We loved getting a morning visit from the Swans and watching all the wildlife and horses around. The lake was beautiful too! Couldn’t ask for any better. The host was easy to get in touch with and responded quick when we needed some more logs! He also recommended local restaurants and was very helpful. We would love to come back in the summer when the weather is warmer, but it was very cute & cosy in the Winter. We don’t want to come home lol!

I would highly recommend Serenity Lakes if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.
