The hut was beautiful and we loved the decor, someone put a lot of thought into making it cosy and homelike. This is a wonderful place to visit and be closer to nature! A must have break! The host... read more was fabulous and brought us extra kindling for the hot tub when needed. The hut was spacious, very clean and homey. Had a great nights sleep as the location is so quiet. Shops and pubs were only about a 10/15 mins drive! The added extras of the sauna, bbq, fire, hammocks and the little boat made our stay 10/10! Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting a get-away.

The hut was really cosy and had everything you need. We loved getting a morning visit from the Swans and watching all the wildlife and horses around. The lake was beautiful too! Couldn’t ask for any better. The host was easy to get in touch with and responded quick when we needed some more logs! He also recommended local restaurants and was very helpful. We would love to come back in the summer when the weather is warmer, but it was very cute & cosy in the Winter. We don’t want to come home lol!

We did take our own towels to use with the hot tub and Im glad we did. The towels provided werent substantial enough for our 'curvy' figures. But everything else was great. We highly recommend this listing. Xx

  Excellent location for seeing all kinds of wildlife (especially the black swans!). Perfect for relaxing by the lake and walking around the grounds. Plenty of opportunities to head out on... read more walks and cycling - and close enough to Haverhill town if wanted to head out to shops/restaurants/pubs etc. Many other nearby towns/villages also well worth visiting (especially Clare which we enjoyed).
