A beautifully peaceful place to stay!

Was such a good find... read more on air b&b, as I struggled to find a place like this where I could fish as well as all the other things this place had to offer such as the hot tub. 100% recommend to anyone that is looking for a relaxing couple days away in which feels like the middle of nowhere!

All the fittings were of great quality and the bed very comfortable, and the little treat in the fridge was a lovely touch. Personally I could have done with a handrail somewhere on the steps as I am a bit unsteady. Otherwise it was perfect and we loved it. Thank you very much xx

  Couldn’t fault it. It was far better than we expected. The hosts have it spot on - from the hot tub, to the sauna, to the perfectly equipped kitchen. Everything... read more was so straight forward. The bathroom was clean, shower was hot and powerful enough. Thought it would be cramped in an attempt to squeeze everything into the hut but it wasn’t at all. There are three huts situated around the lake but they aren’t too close and it still feels private. It was perfect for us, and just what we needed. Would come back again in a heartbeat. I had so many friends ask where i was and how they could book!

  The owner was really nice and super helpful. The cabin was peaceful but very very cold (however we did come on a freezing weekend) and only discovered the portable heater... read more the next day. The shower wasn’t always hot and was mainly cold so we had to ask him to come and sort it and he said it has something to do with others using the hot tub so we had to wait but he came after and sorted it out straight away. Because of the freezing weather we were without water all night but it returned in the morning. The water pressure was also not good very little water was coming out of the shower. I can imagine in the summer this place would be 10/10 apart from the shower. The host allowed us a late check in as no one else was coming that day which was very kind and we are very grateful. Overall he was very kind and immediately responsive and the place was comfortable and cozy!

Peaceful surroundings, Woodfire hot tub with extra logs easily accessible,... read more sauna, and a lake for my other half to fish! Super friendly hosts who will respond quickly and let us have a late check out.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be coming back again and again!
