My husband did some fishing but no luck this time, maybe next time.
Andy the black swan is very friendly and wanted to help my husband with his fishing.
Andy the owner is very helpful and will get back to you quickly if you have any queries.
Fantastic place to recharge your batteries and relax.

Plenty of opportunities to head out on... read more walks and cycling - and close enough to Haverhill town if wanted to head out to shops/restaurants/pubs etc. Many other nearby towns/villages also well worth visiting (especially Clare which we enjoyed).

We really appreciated that the fire for the hot tub was already built for us too!! The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. We had a lot of visits from the resident black swan! I stayed for 4 night's and caught 3 beautiful fish ,a PD Mirror over 26lbs, my first Croatian carp over 18lbs and to top that my first Catfish of 31lbs.
The place lives up to its name "Serenity".
Could not wish for anything more.
Andy was a great host offering tips with the fishing and on hand if you needed him.
Andy you should be very proud of your achievements with this place.
My dream is owning a place like this.
I will definitely be back.

Self check-in... read more with a lock box made the check in / check out process very easy. We did not need to make any contact during our stay but were provided with contact numbers just in case, this was very reassuring. Overall would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 2... read more nights and didnt need to leave the site once - everything we needed was right there. The bed was very comfortable and it was beautiful to wake up to 360° views of countryside. Perfect little retreat with all the right comforts. Half way through our second night we purchased more wood for the hot tub, this was a really quick and easy process. We would love to stay again!
