We explored Bury St. Edmunds in the day as well and had dinner at The Red Lion (as recommended by Andy), a classic English pub dinner! Would recommend.

We really appreciated that the fire for the hot tub was already built for us too!! The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. We had a lot of visits from the resident black swan!   Me and my boyfriend stayed for 2 nights for a break away from reality and our stay done exactly that!

The grounds were simply stunning, a immaculately kept fishing... read more lake. The hut itself was amazing provided everything you could possibly need or want for you stay.
We absolutely loved the attention to detail with the welcoming gift left in the fridge on our arrival with chocolate,larger and biscuits what more could you want!
The shampoo,conditioner etc in the bathroom were another added bonus that smelt amazing.

Overall our stay was amazing, both our highlight was the amazing hot tub set just a few short steps out of the hut , it was so simple to set up and heat using the instructions left in the welcome book!
The fan was also an amazing to find when we first walked in as it was a extremely hot day and we worried we would be to hot to sleep!

We needed no contact with the owners during our stay by just not requiring them but we were reassured that if we needed them they were always a phone call or text away to help or answer any questions.



Highly recommend to anyone looking to book this for a break or relaxing few days away!

The hut was beautiful and we loved the decor, someone put a lot of thought into making it cosy and homelike. This is a wonderful place to visit and be closer to nature! A must have break!
